We believe in the literal creation account of Genesis Chapter 1. We believe the creation week consisted of six literal days comprised of six 24 hour periods. We utterly reject any form of evolutionary theory including theistic evolution, considering such as spiritual prostitution. Moreover, we believe in one eternal, ever present God existing in the persons of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, that the Father sent His only Son Jesus (lit. Yahshua, as it is written in Hebrew) to earth as the only propitiation for the sins of mankind. That He paid that price by living a perfect and sinless life, completely obedient to the Law, and then dying by His own accord on the cross at Calvary, was buried in a borrowed tomb, then on the third day rose from the dead by His own power, is alive evermore and is presently seated at the right hand of the Father in Glory. We believe in His imminent and glorious second coming. We believe in the judgment at the end of the ages in which some will enter into eternal life, and some into eternal death according to their standing in the Lamb's Book of Life. We believe there is no salvation outside of Jesus Christ, and that salvation is a gift of God given by grace, and received only by faith, not by human effort. We believe repentance is critical to salvation as the Scriptures clearly teach and that such repentance, like faith, is a gift of God. We believe the Word of God as contained in the sixty-six books known as the Holy Bible, is sola scriptura (final authority), is inerrant and not up for reinterpretation or negotiation. We believe that man is utterly corrupt, and dead in his sins from birth, and that his best efforts to court God's favour with his deeds of righteousness are completely and utterly useless, filthy and depraved. We believe that man cannot save himself because of this state (being dead in trespasses and sins), and that God's act of redemption through Jesus' perfect life and substitutionary death on the Cross is His work ALONE, not requiring any human intervention whatsoever, and fully by, of and in itself, satisfied for all time, the righteous demands and decrees of the Father. And as a result, the act of redemption for the elect, chosen from the foundation of the world is complete and irrevocably assured.
We believe the present church age is alike that of the Laodicean Church age recorded in Revelation 3:13-18, namely lukewarm and comfortable in it's own perceived piety, but is in fact naked, spiritually bankrupt and wretchedly deceived. We believe that far from being in revival, the 'church' is in fact in the throes of apostasy, which is being driven by deceivers who have been embraced without discernment. We agree with the Apostle Paul's admonition in 1 Timothy 2:12. We, therefore, categorically reject any instance of female authority over, or equal to men in the church. Further, we hold that female teachers / preachers in the general assembly of the redeemed to be a clear, and unmistakable violation of the Scriptures. We reject and deny the occupation of the offices of pastor, elder, bishop, and so on, by women, believing such is demonstratively invalid. We believe, as the Scriptures clearly teach, that women are forbidden to instruct in matters of the faith but rather are to remain silent in subjection to their own husbands, learning from them. We believe women defying this Scriptural command, are actively engaged in rebellion and witchcraft. We believe the health, wealth, influence and prosperity teachings presently popular in most Charismatic churches, are damnable heresies from which believers are commanded to flee. We believe the large majority of the professing church is under the 'great delusion' spoken of in 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12, because they have failed to receive the love of the truth that they might be saved. We believe that it is the individual believer's responsibility to cling to that which is good according to the Father's Word, reject that which is evil, and indeed expose the errors as we are commanded in Ephesians 5:11. We believe it is the individual believer's commission as part of the larger body of Christ to preach the Gospel and to make disciples (disciplined believers) of those who come to Yahshua having been drawn by the Father and convicted of sin by the Holy Spirit. We believe we are to be faithful and careful stewards of His magnificent creation without bowing down to worship it, as is the tendency of some. We believe in the fellowship of the saints, namely the redeemed of the Lord. We believe we are to be His hands and feet to a hurting world, bringing His love, benevolence and healing as we are able in our sojourn here, namely serving God by serving our neighbour as the Scripture instructs. We believe the Body of Christ's primary mission is to preach the Good News of God's salvation, delivered in His Son Jesus Christ to all who will believe. Better a man go to heaven with his stomach empty, than to hell with it full.
And we believe it is no coincidence that you are reading this.
