"Endless human experiences, emotional experiences, bizarre experiences and demonic experiences are said to come from the Holy Spirit. Visions, revelations, voices from Heaven, messages from the Spirit through transcendental means, dreams, speaking in tongues, prophesies, out of body experiences, trips to Heaven, anointing's, miracles - all false, all lies, all deceptions... attributed falsely to the Holy Spirit."   - Dr. John MacArthur

Influencer CONference 2016 - "Deeper"
Yet Never More Shallow

But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction, and many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed - 2 Peter 2:1-2

This year's Influencer CONference is called DEEPER, but the truth is, it has never been more shallow. This year's spectacular is again being held in two locations, Adelaide, South Australia, the initial source of the infection, and the oversees outbreak in Atlanta Georgia, home of Thomas Dexter Jakes, who incidentally, had a paw in it's propagation. The Adelaide event boasts spectacular guest spruikers, mega pastors Ashley and Jane of course (See side bar), plus husband and wife tag team "pastors" Michael and Mary Maiden". Yes that's right, "pastor" even though God's Word, which is rumored to be taught at these events (it's not) clearly forbids women to teach or to have authority over men in the Church. The Scriptures know nothing of female pastors!

"I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet.  For Adam was formed first, then Eve;  and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor". - 1 Timothy 2:12

As at the time of publication, the Atlanta strain of the Influencer virus had not posted its CONference details. We will update this report if and when those details become available.

Evidently, the event organizers have a theme - the untestable ethereal. From the pyramid shapes (See sidebar pics) to the focus on "spiritual gifts", the event, as in past years, is all about appealing to the sensual inner self and drawing out that "godhood within", and then blaming the inevitable mayhem on the Holy Spirit.

Michael and Mary head up Church for the Nations in Phoenix Arizona. CFTN are classic, misguided dominionists, blindly following the 7 Mountains and NAR heresies of C. Peter Wagner and his obvious muse, Satan. Of laughable note is the inclusion of a complete wing nut who "got drunk in God's wine cellar after having downloaded a werewolf anointing from the Glory Cloud" Patricia King (associate of Heidi Baker (See side bar videos), who is listed on the CFTN "Our Leaders" page as an Extension Pastor. Hahahaha. How absolutely ridiculous. Anyone who takes this woman seriously needs to urgently examine themselves to see if they are truly in the faith. This woman is a full blown heretic - no question!  The CFTN website also states they are associated with Healing Rooms International, which itself endorses the false teachings of John G. Lake. Left click to view and Right click this link (and select "Save Link As"), to save the PDF file including pictures, courtesy of Barry Morton (UNISA History). Healing Rooms International, headed up by false teacher Cal Pierce, is typical of charismatic misrepresentation of the Holy Scriptures. An example of Pierce's Scripture pretzeling can be found HERE.

Straight out of the gate, Church for the Nations is at the extreme end of hyper Charismaticism, in league with the likes of Bill Johnson (Bethel "Church" Redding California), the Kansas City Prophets, Lou Engle, Patricia King, Joshua Mills (best selling author and visionary who "worships and preaches by standing within the cloud and ministering directly from the Glory"... riiiiight), C. Peter Wagner, Cindy and Mike Jacobs, Mike Bickle, (the late) William Branham, NAR (New Apostolic Reformation) - Theonomy, Kingdom Now, Christian Reconstructionism, Latter Rain (See side bar), Kenneth Copeland, Todd Bentley, Paula White, Juanita Bynum, Rick Joyner, John Dawson (YWAM), alcoholic, homosexual and false prophet Paul Cain, Lance Wallnau and others. This is a counterfeit, pseudo Christian movement, and Ashley Evans along with the blind cubs following him DEEPER into this deception at Influencers Church, are well and truly, sensuously comfortable in bed with it.

Pastor of Grace Community Church Dr. John MacArthur, Author of Strange Fire, which deals with such heretical extremes within professing Christianity, says of this burgeoning movement:

"... mostly this comes in the professing Church from Pentecostals and Charismatics who feel they have free licence to abuse the Holy Spirit and even blaspheme His Holy Name. And they do it constantly. How do they do it? By attributing to the Holy Spirit, words that He didn't say, deeds that He didn't do, and experiences that He didn't produce - attributing to the Holy Spirit that which is not the work of the Holy Spirit. Endless human experiences, emotional experiences, bizarre experiences and demonic experiences are said to come from the Holy Spirit. Visions, revelations, voices from Heaven, messages from the Spirit through transcendental means, dreams, speaking in tongues, prophesies, out of body experiences, trips to Heaven, anointing's, miracles - all false, all lies, all deceptions... attributed falsely to the Holy Spirit."

It is not a far stretch to liken "Christian" Dominionism to Islamic Sharia. Both are equally unscriptural and demonically inspired ideologies.

Got Questions.org defines Dominionism thusly:

"While many well-meaning Christians are attracted to these philosophies, Christian Dominionism and its offshoots are unbiblical. Although these systems of thought are nominally based on biblical principles, both Christian Reconstructionism and Kingdom Now theology veer away from the heart and message of the gospel. It is understandable that Christians, troubled by abortion and the general moral chaos of a relativistic society, want to take control of the culture and steer it back towards sanity. But holding to Dominionism is not a biblically viable option." - GQ.org

The Church for the Nations, "Our Beliefs" section appears fairly orthodox but for the expected pentecostal add-ons. The Bible speaks of ONE baptism, but CFTN has Two...

"There is one body and one Spirit - just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call - one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all." - Ephesians 4:4-6 [emphasis mine]

At the moment of conversion all believers are sealed and filled with the Holy Spirit. There is no subsequent filling, but Pentecostal / Charismatic manifestations require a second filling so they can perpetuate that which had already been fulfilled at Pentecost. See Acts 2:17 Joel 2:28 and Isaiah 44:3

So, Pastor Mike's comrades are indicative of his teachings, which is hardly surprising, as is Ashley Evan's fond association with him, birds of a feather - blind leading the blind and all of that.  So, lets have a look at some of what Michael Maiden teaches and how it squares with the Word of God.

We have already seen that The Church for the Nations is a Dominionist, Kingdom Now, "Christian" Reconstructionist, Purpose Driven, Signs and Wonders following, hyper charismatic fellowship, whose teachings would be considered typical manifestations of what most credible Bible teachers and theologians today would call a cult, because of its deviance from historical Christian teaching.

"...preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.  For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions,  and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths." - 2 Timothy 4:2-4

Not endure means to not tolerate, or even to desire or yearn for more than what the Word teaches (Eve's original temptation remember?). These folk are following after the same lie.

Pastor Mike has a Master's and Doctorate Degree, not in Theology, but in Christian Psychology. Christian Psychology is nowhere taught in Scripture but is in fact, yet another of the world's ideologies infiltrating the Church. What does the Bible have to say about this?

"See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ." - Colossians 2:8

Mike's wife Mary, who wrongly believes herself to be a pastor, claims to be a "steadying hand and vibrant voice to all the church family as she oversees several ministries." - when the Scripture they claim to minister, clearly forbids such.

"I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet." - 1 Timothy 2:12

Scripture equates the sin of rebellion with witchcraft (1 Samuel 15:23). Mary here, is clearly in rebellion according to 1 Timothy 2:12

Scripture commands believers to not go beyond what is written. Generations of failure to adhere to this clear directive from the Apostle Paul, inspired of the Holy Spirit, has UNDOUBTEDLY instigated and contributed to all of the bizarre chaos and confusion within charismaticism today which, apart from blaspheming Christ, has by consequence, tarred and feathered the true Church.

"I have applied all these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, brothers, that you may learn by us not to go beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up in favor of one against another" - 1 Corinthians 4:6 [emphasis mine]

From CFTN's "The Vision" page comes this...

"CFTN exists to help every person discover the divine destiny God has prepared for their life. Vision is everything. Itís the difference between success or failure, joy or sadness, accomplishment or confusion. God has a plan and purpose for every person and with the help of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, we are committed as a church to help people discover Godís dream for their life."

So, we see that CFTN exists, in their own words, not to preach sin and grace, law and Gospel but rather to "help every person discover their [temporal] destiny for THIS life".  This isn't Christianity then is it?

Among the Top 10 Goals - listed on their Vision Page, NOT ONE of them has to do with seeing lost sinners saved through the preaching of Law and Gospel. Not one. Rather, they are all about their own numeric proliferation and expansion through the indoctrination and training of fellow dominionists (such as 2016 Presidential hopeful Ted Cruz) to go take over the world. Here is their list...

And this from their School of Kingdom Purpose page:

"In our school, students learn, experience, and practice in a Presence-filled corporate classroom setting. The culture of love and grace in our school allows students to discover their gifts, take risks and practice what they learn in a safe environment, and discover and explore their Kingdom purpose in this world. We create an atmosphere for students to also grow in community in small groups and various activations."

Notice the catch phrases: "experience", "practice", "Presence-filled", "Kingdom Purpose", "Atmosphere", "Community", "Activations". These buzz words are typical NAR / Charismati-speak, akin to Emerging Church / Desert Fathers mystical language, where students are trained in ethereal, imagining / contemplative sessions of gobbledygook, then "practice" the manifestations they conjure in their own deceived minds believing them to be from God, when they are nothing of the sort. They then take these "experiences" out into the streets and "make a difference in the world", whatever that means. But the Bible's commission is completely different. Believers are to "Preach the Gospel and make Disciples", not "make a difference". You see, we are talking about two distinct faiths here folks. Although CFTN appears to walk a close parallel to the genuine Christian Church, its unscriptural teachings and psychological meandering's keep it perpetually outside of the authentic Christian camp.

So, once again Ashley and Jane Evans of Influencers Church in Adelaide, South Australia have been caught importing fellow false teachers, deceivers and seasoned ear ticklers to come entertain their sensually motivated throng of blind leaders of the blind. As I said at the beginning, the Conference is called DEEPER, but in reality, it has never been more shallow. This is artificial Christianity folks, everything about it, a completely apostate counterfeit. Stay far away from it (Ephesians 5:11). No truth ever comes from a lie.

More to come...
