Well it's that time of the year again, our annual reprobate review of the Paradox Community Church's fleece-a-thon Influencers 2011. This year's star attractions have matured in their heresies which we will get to, but I want you to notice something from their former website promotion of this event. Since this report was first published in September, the Infiltrators website has been completely redesigned. The only thing to have remained unchanged is the primary focus of the event, it is still ALL about SELF. Notice the little ebony and ivory thing going on in the top left hand corner of the image on the above left (Click to enlarge). What's that all about? A little synchronism perhaps? A little outward display of racial harmony so that the politically inept world they think is admiring their deeds, can see what nice little hypocrites they really are? Or perhaps it is an attempt at a little artistic licence, from those who know a thing or two about stretching a truth on their long theological bow? People pleasers! The Bible declares that the fear of man is a snare (Proverbs 29:25), and yet this slick pack of snake oil merchants would have you believe it is somehow virtuous.

Why do we bother reporting on this event year after year? Partially to dispel the commonly held misconceptions that these events are in any way ''Christian'', that the spruikers on stage have a clue about anything they pretend to represent, and that there is anything of any eternal value on offer. And partially as a testimony against all who design, attend and support these things for the benefit of baby Christians not yet grounded in the Word of God. Moreover, our primary motivation is obedience to the Father (1 John 4:2, Ephesians 5:11) Now, some might argue that people attending these and such like network marketing extravaganzas deserve to be royally fleeced, after all, is not a fool and his money soon parted? If folk were truly grounded in the Word of God they would not fall for this junk in the first place. The truth is that Influencers 2011, like every Influencer Conference before it, will be nothing more than a self aggrandizing cash cow for the squawkers involved, and a convenient justification of secret self indulgences for those dumb enough to walk through the doors.

On the 27th of July 2010 we sent an e-mail to 107.9 Life FM CEO Pastor Michael Chant. That e-mail read as follows...

Hello Michael,

I am persuaded, guided by our previous attempts at conversation, that I am not someone you would prefer to take seriously. However this e-mail contains an admonition [of] which you would do well to take heed, for the sake of those within the sphere of your influence as well as for yourself.

In anticipation of Life FM being contracted by the Paradise Community Church to advertise its upcoming Influencers Conference 2011, we wish to submit, for your spiritual consideration, our article concerning one of its speakers. It is our firm contention that Creflo Dollar, along with many of the TBN headliners Ashley Evans seems determined to export here to further poison the flock, has a spirit of Antichrist as defined by the Scriptures. This report draws that conclusion after examining Dollar's own strange unbiblical doctrines and finds them disturbingly revealing of all players. That article can be accessed HERE. Because Life FM considers itself a ministry in the Body of Christ, and in that capacity broadcasts itself to the greater Christian community, [it] is imperative that its support of those it endorses even by proxy be biblical, and that the spirits have been properly tested. There are consequences for endorsing false teachers and prophets according to 2 John 1:10-11...

For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. (2Jn 1:7-11) Emphasis mine

Notice also this mammonite's revealing arithmetical equation... "your future - your vision - your passion - YOUR church = OUR priority"!

Sounds just like something his father would say. He openly admits the destruction of his followers. Your future, minus your vision, minus your passion, minus YOUR church, equals THEIR primary concern. Not what he meant? Are you quite sure? (Luke 6:45).

This comes after certain people in the federal government began calling for an investigation into Houston's finances. That's what he means by 'guard each other's backs'... careful brothers, they're onto us. Sing each other's praises?? Self adulating ego maniacs, seeking first THEIR kingdom and THEIR righteousness ladies and gentlemen, is precisely what they are up to whether you like it or not, and getting the whole family involved in the leadership in order to keep the cash close to the family farm is that other priority they don't tell us about. These people are of their father the devil and his lusts they do. (John 8:44) They like to be seen and heard and admired. They cry with their actions "Look at me, look at me, look at me". They are known for their great boasting words, and endless excursions into ecclesiastical error. They bask in their influence, the power of their office and their imagined community standing. They have fashioned a golden god in their own image and worship it deliriously. Like their father the devil, they appeal to the flesh in all they do because it works, ignoring the Heavenly Father's warning that they who sow to the flesh will reap corruption. (Galatians 6:8) They live in the fear of man not of Yahweh.

Notice John Gill's Commentary on this passage of Scripture...

Gal 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh,.... Not that taking due care of a man's body, seeking the preservation of its health, providing proper food and raiment for himself, and all necessaries for the good and support of his family, is to be called sowing to his flesh, nor is he to be called a carnal sower; but he is such an one that pampers his flesh, gratifies and indulges the lusts of it, who minds the things of the flesh, lives after it, and does the works of it, who spends his substance in a luxurious way upon himself and family; or whose whole bent, and study, and employment, is to increase his worldly riches, to aggrandize himself and posterity, to the neglect of his own soul, the interest of religion, the poor of the church, and ministers of the Gospel:

shall of the flesh reap corruption; shall by such carnal methods procure for himself, in this world, nothing but what is corruptible, as silver and gold be, and such treasure as moth and rust corrupt; such substance as will not endure, but is perishing, and may be by one providence or another taken from him; so that all his care in sowing comes to nothing, and is of no advantage to himself, nor to his posterity; see Hag_1:4, and shall fall into the pit of corruption, and be punished with everlasting destruction, and die the second death in the world to come.

But he that soweth to the Spirit; not his own, but the Spirit of God; or that soweth spiritual things, that minds and savours the things of the Spirit, lives in the Spirit, and walks in the Spirit; that lays out his worldly substance in promoting spiritual things, in encouraging the spiritual ministers of the word, in supporting the interest of spiritual religion, in relieving the poor of Christ's churches, in contributing to the spread of the Gospel, and the administration of the word and ordinances in other places, as well as where he is more immediately concerned:

shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting; in the use of such spiritual means, though not as meritorious, or as causes, he shall attain to, and enjoy eternal happiness in the other world; or of, and by the Spirit of God, by whose grace and strength he sows, and does all the good things he does, by and of him sanctifying him, and making him meet for it, and not of himself, or any works of righteousness done by him, shall he inherit eternal life; which is the pure gift of God through Jesus Christ, and bestowed as a reward of his own grace.

The word translated corruption is the Greek word phthoran and is translated perish in Colossians 2:22 and 2 Peter 2:12. The meaning is the same, the word corruption embodies its perishing, decaying nature.

You see ladies and gentlemen these people, who do not belong to God, are receiving their reward here and now. They are extorting it from those they have deceived with their demonic doctrines which I am sure are sincerely embraced. And they scorn anyone - to the point of legal action and death threats² who would dare exercise the audacity to question them and their absurd pontifications. They are like their Pharisee forefathers in every respect. Do not imagine for a single moment that the Heavenly Father will not address their great crimes.

We know that we are of God and the whole world is seated in wickedness. (1 John 5:19)

The world system is utterly corrupt and completely irredeemable. When the professing Church seeks to emulate the world in order to attract it, the very opposite of the desired effect takes place. It is completely arrogant to suggest otherwise seeing such behaviour is contrary to the Scriptures. Rather than the world becoming like the Church, the Church becomes like the world. In its quest for popularity and relativity it relinquishes the truth in search of friendship, righteousness in favour of relationship, and unity above all, as did Adam in the Garden of Eden. This compromised edifice calling itself 'The Church' may well wear a pious frontage but alas, its storehouse has long been empty. The Bible calls this state of affairs: Apostasy. Influencers 2011 is a graphic and tragic example of it.

He who owns the cattle on a thousand hills has no need for your money friend. Covetous, power hungry, mammon serving, ego maniacs need your money. And they'll pull any stunt, put on any show or say anything to get their lecherous digits on it. It is their god, and they demonstrate that fact quite obviously for those with eyes to see it. The riches to which our Saviour has always referred are spiritual riches, stored up for eternity where moth cannot destroy nor thief steal nor rust cause corruption³. God's people know that, satan's people apparently don't.

The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death. (Proverbs 21:6)

He who crushes 4 the poor to multiply for himself, and he who gives to the rich, only to come to poverty. (Proverbs 22:16)

I want to close on a sobering note, one which I pray you will consider deeply and with gravity. Proverbs 3: 11-12 and its parallel New Testament passage Hebrews 12: 4-8, speak of a Creator so passionately concerned for the welfare of the sons (and daughters) He loves, that He takes the time to discipline. As a father myself I have had to, on occasion, chastise my children and their resulting tears I felt as if they were my own. Love is not always cuddles and smiles, but it is always love. Now, obviously I am not suggesting our Sovereign Creator thinks as I do, I simply understand the concept and importance of good parenting. Pity I haven't always put it into practice. *smiles* And I knew then, as I do now, that only a truly hateful parent, knowing the pitfalls of life before their child, would fail to warn them, and correspondingly, steer them from danger - without living their lives for them. To extend to them the autonomy of free will and the grace to make mistakes, all the while tailoring the inevitable discipline to facilitate a life lesson - one which, when combined with many other disciplines, becomes a life style - one pleasing to God, which is the purpose. Our lives should be a willing expression of our love for our Creator, an offering of gratitude for simply being. The Scriptures teach that our Heavenly Father chastises and reproves His children - those He loves, and we, as His children, are instructed to not despise His correction. How are we to do that you may ask? Simply by resting in the knowing that we are His... is that not enough? Which brings me to my point. The above mentioned motivational money merchants, and a myriad more meandering in the moolah meadows, along with their long dead, mouldy mentors have been at this stuff for years. YEARS. Consider this, if they haven't been chastised or reproved in all that time for engaging in what is so clearly unscriptural, guess to which kingdom they belong.

Not chastened? - Not a son!

Sobering.
