"Although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator who is forever praised. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. Just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done." - Romans 1:21-28
"...if by turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes he condemned them to extinction, making them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly" - 2 Peter 2:6
" Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!" - Isaiah 5:20
Lovers of the truth looked on in disgust and dismay (Including Russian President Vladimir Putin who accused the US of abandoning its Christian values by supporting homosexuality and same sex "marriage") as the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) announced its predictable ruling on same sex "marriage" which bears the political correct term "Marriage Equality". Of course the term "Marriage Equality" is a nonsense term. Homosexuals already have the "equal right" to marry within the context of the definition of the word, that being persons of the opposite sex. What homosexuals want however are rights no one else has. It is no more logical for a male to "marry" another male as it is a hamster to "marry" a block of cheese. For 6,000 years of human history, marriage has always been defined as a monogamous union between a man and a woman, it has NEVER been applied to homosexual union - it's a nonsense term and quite frankly, a demonic idea. Rights come from God, not from man, not from governments, not from courts, not from kings... from God, the same unchanging God who has eternally condemned the practice of homosexuality. Marriage is to be a holy institution designed by God in order to bring children into the world, to raise those children in the fear and instruction of the Lord, and to pass the knowledge of His righteousness on through the family to subsequent generations. The concept of homosexual marriage is complete blasphemy. The nuclear family unit is the bedrock of society. Destroy that unit and the destruction of society will follow, which of course is the objective. Satan is clearly at work with this global and synchronized push with his little minions in positions of power feverishly pushing with all they have. Immediately following the unconstitutional ruling Barack Hussein Obama, himself a homosexual, pushed back on objectors to the ruling basically telling them to get over it. In a Daily Caller article Obama urged supporters of same-sex marriage Friday to “help” people to overcome their religious convictions, so they are no longer held back from a progressive American view of equality".
Few have questioned the speed with which the rainbow lighting appeared at national landmarks - the White House, Niagara Falls, the Empire State Building and Disneyland. It takes quite some time to hang lights, run cabling and the like. The SCOTUS ruling was a done deal long before the light switches were flicked folks. Like the mandatory vaccination agenda few have made the connection that this "marriage equality" push has been globally synchronized. The homosexual "lobby" are neither that organized nor resourceful so as to globally and syncretically control media, political leaders and law makers. This agenda is clearly being peddled by those ABOVE governments, an elite who drool over the prospect of the complete abolition of God, His righteousness and His people.
What happened on June 26th, 2015 was more than a moral, ethical and legal disgrace, it was a judgment by Almighty God against a nation which has arrogantly and willfully shunned Him.
Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott said immediately after the ruling, that his views have not changed in the wake of the SCOTUS ruling, however former PM Kevin (the dud) Rudd and the imbecilic Greens have vowed to push ahead to see a similar ruling here in Australia.
Despite the agenda, its success or failure, certain things will always remain the same...
No human court has the authority to redefine marriage. Homosexual "marriage" will always be invalid.
The Word of God has pronounced judgment on any nation that would reclassify evil as good, darkness as light, and bitter as sweet (Isaiah 5:20)
Although the SCOTUS ruling claims to have authority over all 50 US States, there are some high powered dissenters who will not play ball, and these folk need our prayers.
Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee said of the ruling:
“This irrational, unconstitutional rejection of the expressed will of the people in over 30 states will prove to be one of the court's most disastrous decisions, and they have had many. The only outcome worse than this flawed, failed decision would be for the President and Congress, two co-equal branches of government, to surrender in the face of this out-of-control act of unconstitutional, judicial tyranny."
"I will not acquiesce to an imperial court any more than our Founders acquiesced to an imperial British monarch, we must resist and reject judicial tyranny, not retreat."
"the Supreme Court tried to unwrite the laws of nature and the laws of nature's God when it legalized gay marriage across the nation."
"people in the United States [should] flout the ruling, as President Abraham Lincoln did in the wake of the justices' 1857 decision that blacks could not be citizens. Huckabee also pointed out that President Barack Obama opposed gay marriage until 2012. He was either lying in 2008, or he's lying now, or God has rewritten the Bible and only Barack Obama has gotten the new edition."
Texas Governor Greg Abbott:
The Supreme Court has abandoned its role as an impartial judicial arbiter and has become an unelected nine-member legislature. Five Justices on the Supreme Court have imposed on the entire country their personal views on an issue that the Constitution and the Court’s previous decisions reserve to the people of the States. Despite the Supreme Court’s rulings, Texans’ fundamental right to religious liberty remains protected. No Texan is required by the Supreme Court’s decision to act contrary to his or her religious beliefs regarding marriage."
Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal:,
"the decision will pave the way for an all out assault against the religious freedom rights of Christians who disagree with this decision."
"The Supreme Court decision today conveniently and not surprisingly follows public opinion polls, and tramples on states' rights that were once protected by the 10th Amendment of the Constitution. Marriage between a man and a woman was established by God, and no earthly court can alter that,"
Former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum:
"Today, 5 unelected judges redefined the foundational unit of society. Now it is the people's turn to speak ."
"Now is the people's opportunity [to] respond because the future of the institution of marriage is too important to not have a public debate. The Court is one of three co-equal branches of government and, just as they have in cases from Dred Scott to Plessy, the Court has an imperfect track record."
"the gay marriage ruling was "based on a lie"
"gay-marriage opponents are motivated by discrimination."
"We have a Supreme Court that says the only reason that you could possibly oppose changing marriage laws in America is because you hate people who want to marry people of the same sex. That is not true"
Those who proudly support the decision, and who clearly do not understand the difference between rights & wrongs, nor love and lust, not surprisingly include:
"President" Barack Hussien Obama (aka Barry Soetoro, aka Frank Marshal Davis Jr.):
"There's so much more work to be done to extend the full promise of America to every American. But today, we can say in no uncertain terms that we've made our union a little more perfect."
[This decision] “is a victory for America.”
“Real change is possible. Shifts in hearts and minds is possible,”
"Proud to celebrate a historic victory for marriage equality—& the courage & determination of LGBT Americans who made it possible. -H"
"So while we celebrate the progress won today, we must stand firm in our conviction to keep moving forward. For too many LGBT Americans who are subjected to discriminatory laws, true equality is still just out of reach."
Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders:
"this decision is a victory for same-sex couples across our country as well as all those seeking to live in a nation where every citizen is afforded equal rights. For far too long our justice system has marginalized the gay community and I am very glad the Court has finally caught up to the American people."
Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid:
"I cannot think of a better way of celebrating the conclusion of LGBT Pride Month than the sight of gay and lesbian couples publicly taking their vows and joining their straight peers in showing their love and commitment."
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi:
"This decision is about creating a future where loving, committed families are able to live with dignity. This is about freedom. This is about love. This is transformative, not only for LGBT families, but for America."
And those who hedged their bets...
2016 Presidential hopeful Jeb Bush:
"In a country as diverse as ours, good people who have opposing views should be able to live side by side,"
"It is now crucial that as a country we protect religious freedom and the right of conscience and also not discriminate."
Presidential Candidate Ben Carson:
"While I strongly disagree with the Supreme Court's decision, their ruling is now the law of the land. I call on Congress to make sure deeply held religious views are respected and protected. The government must never force Christians to violate their religious beliefs."
Carson also believes in the "right" of same sex civil unions. So much for his deeply held religious views.
Florida Senator Marco Rubio:
"This decision short-circuits the political process that has been underway on the state level for years. While I disagree with this decision, we live in a republic and must abide by the law. As we look ahead, it must be a priority of the next president to nominate judges and justices committed to applying the Constitution as written and originally understood."
House Speaker John Boehner:
"All human beings are created equal by God and thus deserve to be treated with love, dignity and respect. I am, however, disappointed that the Supreme Court disregarded the democratically-enacted will of millions of Americans by forcing states to redefine the institution of marriage."
