That His Holiness [the Pope] would choose to speak into this historic day is a testament to the urgency and the need for followers of Jesus to unite in prayer for our nation and our world. We are humbled and honored by his involvement and are eager to share his message with the crowd that gathers at Together 2016.

Unity Without Truth - How Apostasy is Conceived
Introducing: Together [Reset] 2016

Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What harmony can there be between Christ and the devil? How can a believer be a partner with an unbeliever? And what union can there be between God's temple and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God said: "I will live in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people. Therefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; then I will welcome you, and I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty.”
- 2 Corinthians 6:14-18

Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. - Ephesians 5:11

"It is our solemn conviction that where there can be no real spiritual communion there should be no pretense of fellowship.
Fellowship with known and vital error is participation in sin".
- Charles Haddon Spurgeon

While the application is valid in terms of Christian dating and marriage, in that believers are not to marry unbelievers for reasons which should be obvious, 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 has a more primary intent. Something's gotta give when two are headed [spiritually] in different directions. The Holy Spirit leads only One Way into all truth while conversely, the world pulls away violently into all error. This passage is actually referring to Christian ministry and who believers are not permitted to partner with in such. The yoke implies the working together, the "unequal" should thus be obvious. This is about being called to separate from unbelievers (including false Christians) so as to not serve with them in the Name of Christ, which is to blaspheme His Name. The Bible calls it "profaning" and "a-whoring". And profaning and a-whoring is precisely what Together 2016 is at its bedrock.

The cuckoo cry of Unity, Unity is not restricted to the Church, it has a concurrent echo in the world which should raise alarms but is not. We live in a very unstable world, in very evil times. We all long for peace and security in our lives here, that in and of itself is not a bad thing necessarily. However, if in achieving such unity, peace and security there is the requirement to move or remove ancient boundaries founded on immovable truth, then said unity, peace and security must be rejected.

"I write to you, not because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth." - 1 John 2:21

Let Us Reason Ministries writes:

"True unity is found only in Christ. Those who belong to Him are “one body,” having “one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all...” (Eph.4: 4-6). A unity of the one faith (v. 5). Unity is not possible unless one accepts the faith taught by the apostles, not just faith in God (whoever that may be). The Church is commanded to “earnestly contend for the faith once delivered unto the saints” (Jude 3). We are to guard this faith (2 Tim.1: 13-14) which is not the purpose of this new unity that is sought. There is no unity whatsoever between those who believe and follow the Bible and those who do not hold to the fundamentals, the core teachings that have always been taught. What spiritual fellowship does light have with darkness? “Do not fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness but expose them.” These “works of darkness” are anything contrary to Christ that lifts itself to challenge His (Christ's) exclusive claims. Jesus said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me” (John 7:16). If anyone discards doctrine for the sake of being united with others they are directly going against all that Christ stands for."

So, did Jesus come to bring peace and unity? No! He came to bring a sword (Matthew 10:34) and that Sword is His Word... Scripture... from which comes Doctrine. (Ephesians 6:17, 2 Timothy 3:16). The Word of God divides, as is its purpose. Nick Hall however, wants such division "erased" in the name of ecumenical unity - Read on...

Since 400 AD genuine believers in Jesus Christ have identified the Roman Catholic institution as the biblical Whore of Babylon, drunk with the blood of saints, and the Pope as the AntiChrist. This came to a glorious head in 1517 when Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses to the large wooden door of the All Saint's Church in Wittenberg Germany. What began as a scholarly protest against the absurd claims made by the Roman pontiff, namely that he, as god on Earth, had the authority and power to grant souls parole from the mythical dungeon of purgatory... for a few gold coins. Luther's theses are a treasure trove of biblical truth and mockery of Roman heresy. But Rome has never been satisfied with being separated from her harlot daughters, she wants them back in the fold, and she is achieving that aim with a lot of help from phonies such as Kenneth Copeland and company. See the side bar for a video link showing Copeland's capitulation to Rome in his sideshow of a church. The conduit between Rome and the completely apostate version of Christianity represented by Kenneth Copeland and company was Bishop Tony Palmer, who was killed in a motorcycle accident shortly after this presentation. We have no reason to believe Palmer was an authentic Christian. There can be no unity with Rome because Rome preaches a very different gospel to that of the Scriptures. The "gospel" of the Roman Catholic Church which still holds to its Council of Trent's anathematizing of the Christian Gospel, actually damns souls to Hell. It is for this reason and many others that genuine Christians are to, as the Scripture says, "go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing" (2 Corinthians 6:18). And yet despite this explicitly clear command, the apostate daughters of the great whore continue to beckon to its call and run to its embrace.

Why am I mentioning the church of Rome and its leader? Because Jorge Mario Bergoglio aka: Pope Francis is also a part of Together 2016, and one of its most vocal proponents and originator of the ideology behind it, Nick Hall (associate of false teachers Robert Morris, Ron Luce, Patricia King, Luis Palau, peddler of the Pulse and Reset Movements sweeping charismania) is nearly wetting his undies at that reality. It's truly pathetic. Let me address the stupidity of the "reset" concept for a moment. This generation doesn't need a reset, what good would that do? We are rotten by DEFAULT. A reset would do nothing to change anyone for long. This generation needs SALVATION through the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. People don't need a reset, a do over or a second chance, they need a new birth. The founding premise of Together 2016 is unbiblical. Completely unbiblical.

Says Hall concerning his meeting with the Roman pontif...

“That His Holiness would choose to speak into this historic day is a testament to the urgency and the need for followers of Jesus to unite in prayer for our nation and our world. We are humbled and honored by his involvement and are eager to share his message with the crowd that gathers at Together 2016.” – Nick Hall, Founder of PULSE

"Speak into this day"? His Holiness? Are you serious Nick? The Pope is the antithesis of holy. This doesn't merely skirt around idol worship, this literally bows down and drools. Hall is either unaware of the impassible theological chasm between Christians and Rome (which is possible because Nick Hall here is from a pedigree that never broaches the history of that subject), or he simply doesn't care. I suspect the latter is equally true and that makes him and those with the same mindset extremely dangerous. I believe Hall is so fixated on unity at all costs he has thrown love of the truth under the bus, that is, if he ever had the truth to begin with. The Scripture declares there is no unity between light and dark, between truth and error, between satan and Christ. These aren't lines drawn in shifting sand, they are not revisable. They are carved in stone with blood. This is important folks. The thing that unites Christians must be the Truth of Scripture (John 17:17), because the name and facsimile of the modern "Jesus" being bandied around in charismania is clearly interchangeable with other religious traditions. The question posed here is WHICH JESUS? is being summoned to this ecumenical orgy in order to initiate this so called "Catalytic Change" about which the Bible is completely silent?

“Together 2016”: Denominations link arms with Chrislebritles to erase doctrinal divisions"

Erase Doctrinal Divisions, because after all "Doctrine divides" right? Yes, indeed it does. That is its purpose. (Matthew 10:34). It divides truth from error, soul from spirit, sheep from goats, wheat from chaff and genuine from fake. That is why people and movements such as Together 2016 are obsessed with removing all barriers to their imagined utopian unity. Immovable obstacles such as "doctrines" have to not only be removed, they must be "erased". This is so that the wolves may remain incognito and unchallenged by those who dare "oppose this new move of the Spirit" - which is no move of the Spirit at all. The world is being herded into satan's end time global religion where "fundamentalism" will be erased and the worship of self reign supreme. A Chrislebrity is a Christian Celebrity again, something about which the Bible is silent. Whether Hall comprehends it or not he is talking about forsaking the foundation of the Church which is the teachings of the Apostles - the Scriptures folks, so as to attain unity in what he thinks is the Body of Christ, and for the sake of unity, thinking that in so doing God is honored. He is not! Read our opening Scriptures. God calls for unity in the truth, not unity in error. The Apostle Paul inspired by the Holy Spirit called unity with unbelievers "unclean", and instructed children of God to come out from and be separate (context: - in ministry). Roman Catholics are by definition, unbelievers. This is because the church of Rome adheres to a gospel different to that taught by the Apostles. Theirs is a doctrine of works, rituals and relics, not a doctrine of unmerited grace by Christ alone. The Roman jesus did not complete His work on the Cross. The Roman jesus commands his followers to clean up their own lives in order to pay for what the Bible calls a free gift. The Roman jesus instructs his followers that obedience to the law will gain them entry into Heaven. The Biblical Jesus says that by obedience to the Law no man will be justified. (Romans 3:20, Galatians 2:16, Galatians 3:11) Rome worships a different Jesus and preaches a different gospel - one different enough to damn them. According to Scripture (Galatians 1:8-9), anyone who preaches a Gospel contrary to the one the Apostles taught is anathema (eternally damned), and if Nick Hall chooses to not see that or worse, to not care, then I'm sorry but he does too. This is apostasy right out in the open with its skirt lifted high ladies and gentlemen.

Some quotes from the Together 2016 website:

"Together 2016 is the day our generation will meet on the National Mall to come together around Jesus in unified prayer, worship, and a call for catalytic change. We’re coming together with as many people as possible who believe Jesus changes everything."

Our generation is the most cause-driven in history. But our causes are pulling us apart. Even religion doesn’t unite. We believe only Jesus can bring us together. July 16, 2016, is the day our generation will meet on the National Mall to come together around Jesus in unified prayer, worship, and a call for catalytic change."

We believe there’s power in coming together. Jesus promised whenever two or more come together in His name, He is present. It’s emboldening to join with others, to know we’re not alone, to realize we can do more together than apart. July 16, 2016 is the day when this generation lays down what divides us and lifts up Jesus who unites us. On a day of unified prayer, worship, and a call for catalytic change, we will meet on the National Mall to declare that Jesus changes everything. We believe Jesus can do unprecedented things in our time. Our dream is for more than one million people from all backgrounds to be part of this generation-defining day.

There have been times in history where the call to Jesus assembled the masses: Explo 72, promise Keepers’ stand in the Gap, crusades led by Rev. Billy Graham. These were historic events where the impact stretched beyond the Church to all of culture.
Now our generation is rising up to lead toward a historic event that will define our time and shift our culture. The statistics of this generation are sobering; young people struggle with depression, self-harm, suicide, and addiction at unprecedented rates. But a call for hope is rising the hope that only Jesus brings to change our generation forever.

A reset to our created purpose. In 2012, a group of people from different backgrounds, known then as RESET Movement, began sharing the message of a “reset” at events and gatherings. The term relates to technology, where a reset clears past errors and gets the system working toward its created purpose. In the same way, every person is created for a purpose but we have downloaded the wrong files, corrupted the system, and fallen away from God’s best for our lives. Each of us needs a reset, and Jesus offers everyone a supernatural reset. A collective reset for our lives. Over the last few years, more than a half million young people have texted, typed, or written down prayers asking Jesus to reset their addictions, purity, priorities, internet habits, and hopes. We’ve heard arenas full of thousands of people calling out deeply personal prayers for Jesus to reset their lives.Together 2016 will be a massive collective moment when we will ask Jesus to reset our lives, our nation, and our generation.

"The times call for this moment," said Nick Hall, founder of PULSE. "It is time to gather on a large scale and draw our attention back to where it really matters. Our hope and our help are found in Jesus, not in political leaders. [and yet the Pope is a political leader] We are going to come together, seek God, pray for our nation and pray for unity.  Our goal is to gather as a unified front, seeking Jesus and change for our nation through prayer and worship."

Seeking Jesus and Change? How about this for a radical seeking and changing idea Nick?

"If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. - 2 Chronicles 7:14

Too hard? How about this one?

"And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. - Mark 16:15-16

Before we look at some of the participants, and it won't be all of them because there are just too many, here are some thoughts on Together 2016's comments:

  • There can be no unified prayer with enemies of the Cross - EVER. Rome is an enemy of the Cross. There can be NO unity with it, not while she opposes the truth. Rome is apostate. It is not considered part of the body of Christ despite what these misguided speakers and performers wish to imagine.
  • The quote: "lay down what divides us and lift up Jesus who unites us" is the call back to Rome, to ecumenism, to a one world religion united for the sake of unity through experience, not for the sake of the truth. It's not as if the theological differences are minor, they most assuredly are NOT. Rome preaches a different Gospel and worships a different Jesus. Rome's Jesus is not, and never can be, in union with true believers any more than light can have union with darkness.
  • THEY are building towards something, and we agree they are, the question is to what? Christ alone is the One building His Church against which the gates of Hell will not prevail. It is HIS work alone. What they are doing here is something completely different.
  • What on Earth is "Resetting Generations"? and where does the Scripture speak of such a thing? Of course that is a rhetorical question because the concept of "resetting" is NOWHERE to be found in Scripture.
  • "...our generation is rising up to lead toward a historic event that will define our time and shift our culture" What on Earth does that even mean? It's gobbledygook. It makes as much sense as "Broken air in Wednesday's cake mileage." What time defining, culture shifting, historic event? The feat of gathering a million people together in the name of an interchangeable Jesus, before a pagan obelisk, for the cause of feel good syncretism?
  • Even if it were possible that God would mystically "reset" a generation, it would do it no good. They would soon trigger the need for another, then another, then another. To use an electrical analogy: Humanity has a collective and perpetual "Earth Leak" problem! It's always going to trip the circuits, always. Halls philosophy however, assumes we have a clean slate to which we can reset. He clearly does not understand the concept of dead in trespasses and sins. His ideology assumes the clean becoming dirty with a need for a spiritual bath - a reset. This is completely foreign to scripture. As I said earlier, Christianity is not about a reset, a try again or a second chance. Christianity is about the death of the old and the birth of the new. It's not about pulling yourself up by your own moral bootstraps every time you fail, it's not about what you can do. It's about what Christ has done FOR you. It wouldn't matter how many resets we get, we will fail every single time because we are sinners and we are incapable of obeying God. Christians are saved by the redemptive, propitiatory work of Christ through the faith He gives to those called from the foundation of the world, (Ephesians 1:4) and by no means their own efforts. (Ephesians 2:8-9) - Think Lazarus ok? That's how it works. We are as dead as door nails in our trespasses and sins. We're bound, we stinketh, we're dead. We don't agree with an invitation to accept Jesus into our stone cold dead hearts, we're dead... We respond to the command  to COME FORTH. Jesus is the resurrection and the life, we are not. We don't raise ourselves from the dead to do anything. We are raised, and we believe. This generation doesn't need a reset, it needs a rebirth including many of those organizing and attending this event.. The whole philosophical underpinning of this event is flawed at its foundation, naive at best and satanic at worst. There can be no spiritual union with Rome, period!
  • Either Nick Hall doesn't comprehend the theological chasm separating genuine Christianity and Roman Catholicism, or he simply doesn't care. I suspect the latter is more the case which makes him all the more dangerous. The Scripture declares there is no unity between light and dark, truth and error. What truly unites Christians is the Truth because as I said, the name and persona of "Jesus" are clearly interchangeable between religious traditions. The question here is "WHICH JESUS"? is being summoned to this event in order to initiate this so called "Catalytic Change" of which the Bible doesn't speak?
  • "... Our goal is to gather as a unified front, seeking Jesus and change for our nation through prayer and worship."?  Seeking Jesus to what end? Which Jesus will you seek? The church of Rome seeks a different Jesus to that of the Protestants. How can there possibly be unity of any kind in that, let alone prayer. Utterly preposterous. And what kind of change do you mean? Islam is changing the world as I speak, are you proposing a "Christian" version of that? Neither are biblical Nick.

So we have Francis pushing for unity in 2014, for global government in 2015 and for unity again in 2016 with Together 2016. Common denominators are not accidental folks, they indicate something.

The event boasts a literal cornucopia of false teachers, circus performers and charlatans all mixed together goulash style with some respectable teachers of God's Word, though admittedly not many. The genuine are often invited to these kind of events to lend credibility to the thing as a whole, which is why biblical separation is essential.

"Those who engage in spiritual enterprises with unbelievers, without confronting their errors, give credibility to their heresies.
In doing so, they leave their own convictions and beliefs open to question."
- Mike Gendron

At the time of publishing the confirmed speakers and artists attending Together 2016 include: Hillsong United, Kari Jobe, Francis Chan, Lecrae, Nick Hall, Passion, Crowder, Kirk Franklin, Ravi Zacharias, Jeremy Camp, Andy Mineo, Michael W. Smith, Lauren Daigle, Christine Caine, Mark Batterson, Matthew West, Jo Saxton, Mike Kelsey, Casting Crowns, John K. Jenkins, Sr., Josh McDowell, Laurel Bunker, Luis Palau, Tedashii, Tasha Cobbs, Lacey Sturm, York Moore, Trip Lee, Sammy Rodriguez, Ronnie Floyd, Reid Saunders, Bob Lenz, Jose Zayas, Jennie Allen, Nabeel Qureshi, Ann Voskamp, KB, Christine D’Clario, Matt Maher, Sammy Wanyonyi, Lindsey Nobles, Amena Brown, and Josh Brewer; with a special message from "His Holiness", Pope Francis.

Ok, here's a look at just a few...

  • Hillsong United: A complete embarrassment. Unbridled, heretical word/faith, grand standing show ponies. (See sidebar for more information)

  • Francis Chan: Reformed preacher historically capable of preaching an uncompromising Gospel message, has taken to associating with known grievous wolves and charlatans such as Mick Bickle of International House of Prayer (iHOP) speaking on more than one occasion at iHOP events. Believers are to "have nothing to do with the unfruitful works of darkness but rather expose them" (Ephesians 5:11) - joining with them is not acceptable. Bickle is a heretic of the worst stripe, akin to fellow heretic Bill Johnson of Bethel Redding. Bickle is a dominionist following the absurd and unbiblical Seven Mountains Mandate in which the "Church" gains "influence in the world" in order to take over and rule (have dominion over the) 7 mountains of influence in society: Business, Government, Media, Arts and Entertainment, Education, the Family and Religion. Sounds like a global government deal doesn’t it? Well, that would be for a reason folks because that is PRECISELY what the globalists are striving to do. This completely unbiblical quest is quintessentially charismatic and terminally deluded. The Bible calls believers at whatever station they find themselves in life, to preach the Gospel and make disciples of all men. Influence and power have ZERO to do with it. Of the seven Churches mentioned in the book of Revelation only two escaped rebuke and both were deathly poor and without any kind of influence save the Spirit of God living within them. The powerful, wealthy and prominent churches ALL received severe rebukes and some were already spiritual cadavers with others on the verge. It truly is as the prophet Zechariah proclaimed: "Not by might, nor by power but by my Spirit declares the Lord" (Zechariah 4:6). Chan, knowing all of this still chooses to associate with Bickle and friends, and there IS a big problem with that.

  • Ravi Zacharias: A generally respected preacher, Zacharias has of late also been associating with shady folk among whom is Joyce Meyer who Zacharias praises as a "Great Teacher" when she is nothing of the sort.  He proclaimed Roman Catholic mystic and  closet homosexual Henri Nouwen as being "One of the greatest saints in living memory" . Here is what Nouwen says: Today I personally believe that while Jesus came to open the door to God’s house, all human beings can walk through that door, whether they know about Jesus or not. Today I see it as my call to help every person claim his or her own way to God.”  Where Ravi's discernment is vacationing is anyone's guess. Sadly Zacharias appears to be trudging the ecumenical road to the lake of fire along with the other attendees of Together 2016. Speaking at a large congregation of Evangelicals and Mormons in the Salt Lake City, Mormon Tabernacle, in Utah on February 17-18, 2014, Zacharias boldly stated to the Mormons in attendance: “And so, what brings us together? As has already been said, yes we have our theological differences, but I think it’s commendable that we find a common cause in trying to create a good moral soil in this culture and in this time.”  Again, believers are to not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, are to come out from among heresy and be separate, to have nothing to do with unfruitful works of darkness but rather expose them. But Ravi evidently, has better ideas. Theological differences with Mormons? That's quite the understatement speaking of a group of folk who believe Jesus and Satan are half brothers, that God is one of a pantheon of gods living on the planet Kolob, who grew to BE God as we also can, and who also believe they will all rule over planets of their own, pumping out spiritual babies for all eternity. Theological differences? Ya think? As unpalatable as it is, like the other speakers at this event, Ravi Zacharias appears to but yet another compliant zombie in the Back to Rome choir (See side bar for more information)

  • Christine Caine: Hillsong Sydney campus graduate and globe trotting disciple of word faith heretic and Scripture mutilator Brian Houston. Christine has a preaching style akin to that of a sulfur crested cockatoo and the spiritual acumen of a peanut butter sandwich when it comes to rightly handling God's Word. (See sidebar for more information)

  • Mark Batterson: Author of several books including the unbiblical Circle Maker which builds upon, not Scriptural truth, but the non canonical and mythical teachings of the Jewish Mishnah, which is basically a story book version of the Hebrew Torah. Batterson is also resistant to any kind of correction and regularly shuns it. (Proverbs 12:1, 15:5, 15:32). (See sidebar for more information)

  • Luis Palau: Known as the Billy Graham of the South, Palau is an easy believism, decisional regeneration variety of professing Christian  (pelagian / semi pelagian) who at one point denied homosexuality was a sin. Theologically Arminian, Palau is an active peddler of ecumenism, and in recent times has moved closer toward incorporating Roman Catholic theology and practices into his crusades and events which makes him a perfect bad breath mouthpiece for this event. (See sidebar for more information)

  • Ronnie Floyd: Outgoing Southern Baptist Convention President dubbed "Armani Floyd", Ronnie has of late teamed up with heretic Kenneth Copeland and has been seen attending more than one ecumenical event. (See sidebar for more information)

  • Ann Voskamp: Described by critics as a Mystical Pietist and Romantic Panentheist, Voskamp is the author of One Thousand Gifts in which she sets out to eroticize the Christian relationship with Christ, and to redefine the fall of man giving a simplistic remedy of discovering one's connection to the whole. As a Panentheist believing herself to be a Christian Voskamp is leading her deluded followers on a pagan quest to find God in Nature, Art and Sensuality. Her writings are frankly creepy and disturbingly sexual. Here's a couple of examples from her book:

"I long to merge with Beauty, breathe it into lungs, feel it heavy on skin. To beat on the door of the universe, pound the chest of God . . .
No matter how manifested, beauty is what sparks the romance and we are the Bride pursued, the Lover pursuing, and known or unbeknownst,
He woos us in the romance of all time, beyond time. I ache for oneness." (Voskamp: 119).

and another:

"I remember this feeling. The way my apron billowed in the running, the light, the air. The harvest moon. I remember. The yearning.
To merge with Beauty Himself. But here . . . Now? Really? . . . I am not at all certain that I want consummation". (Voskamp: 211)

one more:

"I run my hand along the beams over my loft bed, wood hewn by a hand several hundred years ago. I can hear Him. He's calling for a response; He's calling for oneness. Communion." (Voskamp: 211).

Yup, creepy! Read a very thorough review of Voskamp's book One Thousand Gifts by Bob DeWaay here.

  • Matt Maher: A Roman Catholic entertainer who gets personal invitations from the pope to lead Roman Catholic worship. Maher leads a college bible study in Roman Catholic doctrine. He leads "worship" every week and performs the blasphemy of the Mass each Sunday night. On Tuesdays Maher teaches his attendees how to "Adore the Blessed Sacrament" - which is idolatry by any yard stick. Roman Catholics are not Christians folks. They believe a different Gospel and serve a different Jesus. There can be no unity of truth in this... EVER. But then again, Together 2016 is not about Truth... it's all about Unity through experience, and anything that gets in the way of that must be removed... things like uncompromising doctrine based on the immutable truth of Scripture.

  • Pope Francis: Jesuit, Communist, heretic, fake Christian, false teacher, leader of the world's largest pseudo Christian denomination, and whose office and title have long been held by Protestants to be that of AntiChrist.

...And the list goes on. Make no mistake folks, while appearing Christian, this event is in all reality about the melding of incompatible religious worldviews under the all encompassing vision of unity through experience, and the persona of one they call "Jesus", when the Jesus of the Bible has forbidden such endeavors and unions.

So what's with the "reset" deal? Organizers believe that Christians need to "get back to what's important, to reset in order to make a difference in the world." Is that what Christians are called to do? To make a difference in the world? No it's not. To be sure, all believers are buffeted by the world's tempting evil and their own fallen nature to participate in such. This is nothing new, it is the battle grand with a flesh that will not be tamed. Often times believers in Christ will stray from the path by virtue of the fact that sinners are prone to wander, and we are gently brought back into the fold by our Loving Shepherd in due time. But returning from wandering is not what Nick Hall and friends are talking about. They are looking for a powerful mystical movement of corporate unity in order to propel them to greatness and prominence so that by their influence they can transform a fallen world with prayer and unity and not by preaching the Gospel. There is no Gospel talk in their rhetoric, at all. So the "reset" is back to what these people think is the default setting (blameless evidently) from which they will launch their global takeover for one they call "jesus". The trouble is, according to the known preaching content of many participants in this event, that "jesus" is NOT the Jesus of the Bible, and that's just a fact. What ecumenism seeks to do is unite mainstream religious denominations (believers with unbelievers alike) in a common cause. Yet despite the rhetoric and advertising spin, that "common cause" is not Jesus Christ, it's UNITY. The coming global religion for which we are being prepared will be decidedly INCLUSIVE not exclusive. It will be fluid not fundamental. It will demand unity and will not tolerate division. The Word divides, the Word will not be welcome in this new system in which the Together 2016 participants are (perhaps) unwitting players, which is why professing Christians are being steered away from it [the Word] and into subjective "experience".

Far from being an innocent gathering together of Christ Seekers (whoever that Christ may be to the individuals in attendance), Together 2016 is a dangerous and decisive surge toward ecumenism, the melding and uniting of traditions hostile to the Cross of Christ and to His Gospel. Far from being celebrated, this event, by every metric, should be shunned but prayers lifted for the participants, that the Lord would be merciful and open their eyes to the global deception in which they are involved.

Aside from the heresy-fest Together 2016 promises to be, judging by those who will be performing, with VERY FEW exceptions, I have another fear. The United States of America is undergoing a complete societal restructuring. It is by design and the transition will be bloody and decisive. America as a whole must be broken in order to fit into the emerging global collective. The world is being ushered into a global government NOW. A unified, divisive-less religion needs be part of that according to the Peter Drucker Three Legged Stool principal made popular by religious chameleon Rick Warren. Unified in union, not in truth, that is important to remember. Obviously the transition requires upheaval of the old - culture, beliefs, traditions etc. This is why we are seeing a barrage of politically endorsed and enforced perversion and injustice. Black is being turned against white, race against race, homosexual against straight, male against female, child against parent, Islam against Christianity, Kingdom against Kingdom... just as the Word warns would be the case at the time of the end. (Matthew 24:7) America is imploding while the world is being Islamified. It has spurned God, His mercy, His grace and His decrees, and now it is fittingly receiving His antithesis, and this is also by design.

My fear is that the Together 2016 event, given the number of attendees, will be used by opportunistic individuals living out their Islamic "purpose driven life", to create large scale carnage for a greater political end. I am not a prophet, I am not making a prediction nor am I wishing any harm on attenders of the event. To the contrary, I ask that you join us in prayer that the Lord would protect attendees from such a terror event, and at the same time open their collective eyes to the errors they are embracing and the eternal danger of returning to the Great Harlot Mother Rome.

Ecumenism is a conga line on the wide and heavily traveled path which leads to the Lake of Fire. Don't join it!

Christians should always remember that a “profession” of faith does not mean the “possession” of faith. Neither is the self-applied label “Christian” indicative of genuine, biblical repentance and belief. After all, those adhering to Roman Catholicism, the greatest apostate “church” on the planet, claim themselves to be Christian. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints claims to be the church of the original apostles restored.

Described by critics as a Mystical Pietist and Romantic Panantheist, Voskamp is the author of One Thousand Gifts in which she sets out to eroticise the Christian relationship with Christ, and to redefine the fall of man giving a simplistic remedy of discovering one's connection to the whole. Voskamp is a Panantheist leading her deluded followers to find God in Nature, Art and Sensuality. Her writings are simply creepy and disturbingly sexual.

I question if hell can find a more fitting instrument within its infernal lake than the Church of Rome is for the cause of mischief. And your church will in its measure, be the same if bereft of the Spirit.

- Charles Spurgeon

Matt Maher is a contemporary worship leader in the Roman Catholic faith... [MAHER]: I lead a college Bible study. It's a Catholic Church... I'm just letting them know that there is a generation, now rising, of Catholics who recognize the gift of Salvation that's been given to them and that see the need for a daily relationship with Jesus and pursue it. And pursue Him actively in His Word, and also pursue it in the Sacrament... I lead worship every week. I do a mass every Sunday night at 6 PM at my church, Saint Tims, and on Tuesday nights we do a thing called XLT. Basically what it is is a gathering for high school and college students. It's consistent with about 40 minutes of worship, 20 to 25 minutes of teaching and about 25 to 30 minutes of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

The earliest Obelisks were known as ‘benben’ stones. The spirit of the sun god was supposed to enter the stones at certain periods, and on these occasions human sacrifices were offered to it. The victims were probably prisoners of war who had been captured alive, and foreigners, and when these failed the priests must have drawn upon the native population.

Hillsong Sydney campus graduate and globe trotting disciple of word faith heretic and Scripture mutilator Brian Houston. Christine has a preaching style akin to that of a sulfur crested cockatoo and the spiritual acumen of a peanut butter sandwich when it comes to rightly handling God's Word.
